Made from memory and latex foam, infused with graphite for coolness, Saatva feels great to rest your head on. However, due to the lack of contoured zones, there’s no area for neck pain reduction and it’s likely to be less comfortable than the top options due to the shape.

Marlow is the best version of this list's more 'traditional' pillows. It provides some support and is height-adjustable, but it's not contoured, so it's not as effective at preventing neck and back pain as it could be. The (big) downside is that you only get two height levels to choose from, so buying this pillow means gambling that one of them will suit you.

Coop is great compared to a traditional feather-fill pillow and if you’re committed to the old ways – this is the one. However, compared to ergonomic memory foam, we can’t recommend it. Especially if you struggles with neck and back pain. It feels just like any regular pillow.

Similarly to Coop, Layla is great compared to regular pillows. It can be perfect as a spare pillow for your guest room but for daily use – we’re not so sure. The pillow’s filling moves around quite a bit, is messy to adjust, and the hexagon pattern cover is really visible through pillowcases.

This pillow is pretty similar to the Derila, but lacks its quality. If your budget is really tight it could be an option. EPABO is contoured, but otherwise it wouldn’t be my choice. The memory foam used in it isn’t CertiPUR certified and is noticeably lower quality. From our trials, it’s alright if you’re a back sleeper but far from great for side sleepers.

The pillow cube is (unsurprisingly!) cube-shaped. The shape is supposedly ideal for side sleepers, so this pillow probably isn't great if you sleep on your back or front. However, we didn't enjoy it for side sleeping either. While the good neck/back alignment helps, the pillow is pretty high, which can be uncomfortable.

The Purple Harmony is marketed as ‘The greatest pillow ever invented’. We wouldn’t go that far, but it is a nice pillow with some stand-out features. The honeycomb shape does help airflow. However, the latex is quite springy, and leaves a mark on your skin. However, it does get points for coming in multiple sizes.
